This beautiful 1850’s cottage has two bedrooms and sleeps three. It provides a comfortable cosy home for a couple, two singles or a small family. It is available throughout the year.
The Living Room
The living room is an ideal place to relax: It’s especially light and bright.
You’ll find comfortable seating and a flat screen television! This has ‘Freeview’ (giving you a choice of channels), whilst the Blue Ray/ DVD player offers catch up TV and will play CD’s. There is also a digital radio with an iPod Dock.
You might prefer to use the playing cards and the board games or spend time reading some of the many books on the area so you can make the most of your visit …. You’ll find plenty to interest and entertain you whatever the weather or time of year.
The bathroom is also on the ground floor so may not be suitable for those with mobility issues. It has a shower, a wash basin and toilet, storage cupboards and a shaver point. There is also a washing machine and tumble drier which you can use.
Bed Linen and Towels
Bed linen and towels are provided. You’ll also find many household items such as washing up liquid, dishwasher tabs, cleaning sponges etc.
Offsite parking is possible.
Children are welcome. There is a travel cot and a booster seat (which creates a high chair) available for infants. Younger children need supervision outside (as there’s a steep bank leading to a stream) behind the back garden fence
No smoking or pets
The cottage is non smoking throughout.
Sorry, pets are not allowed but you might consider leaving your dog or cat locally Local kennels and Cattery
The cottage has central heating throughout and is warm and cosy in the winter. If you stay during the cooler months the heating will be already be on when you arrive.
