Rosebud Cottage

Cottage Living
This character period holiday cottage, is set at the end of a terrace.
The property is in an ideal position within a few minutes walk from Steyning’s independent shops, cafes and restaurants.
Just a stone’s throw from footpaths too, leading into the South Downs, so it is perfect for walkers.
It was built in the mid 1800’s for tannery workers, by a popular local man. He was never knighted, but was commonly known as ‘Sir George’. The street the cottage is in was named after him.
Cosy Interiors
This is an exceptionally light and bright room, with double aspect windows, original features and vintage fabrics.
Sit back and relax, watch the TV or use the Blu Ray player for DVDs and CDs. Radio fans will appreciate the Pure digital radio..
You’ll find local maps, walks books and interesting guides to help you make the most of your stay, together with a selection of board games.

All You Need Kitchen
This character kitchen has everything you’ll need for a self-catering break
An especially well equipped room (with a dishwasher hidden behind one of the cupboards) and a small dining table.
Ideal if you are a keen cook!
Two Bright Bedrooms
When you arrive the beds will be made up with freshly laundered bed linen.
There is a double bed in the main bedroom and a single bed in the second.
The main bedroom, (my favourite), has an especially calm feel.

Modern Shower Room
This stylish room has a shower, washbasin, toilet and storage cupboards.
There is also a washing machine and tumble drier you can use.
Its location, together with the fairly steep staircase (typical in an older cottage) means it is not suitable for those with mobility issues.
Flower Garden
A favourite spot:
Relax, sitting on the benches. At the back of the cottage, you will be able to hear the bubbling mill stream!
Whatever time of year you stay, you will find plants in flower.
