Brighton Festival is an annual celebration of music, theatre, dance, circus, art, film, literature, debate, outdoor and family events. It takes place in a variety of venues across Brighton & Hove and lasts for 3 weeks each May.
This year, 2019, Malian singer, songwriter and guitarist, Rokia Traoré is the Guest Director.
Leading Arts Festival

Getting to Brighton
Brighton is just 10 miles from Steyning. Trains run from Shoreham to Brighton every 10 or 15 minutes. There is also an hourly bus service from Steyning.
